VALLEY OF FLOWERS TOUR
Valley of flowers trek is very famous trek among Himalayas trekking destination in India. The altitude height of valley of flowers is around 14,400ft. The Pushpawati river flows through along the trails of the valley of flowers trek and is the major source of moisture. The soil here does not hold a lot of water and hence the flowers bloom immediately after the first rains. Valley of flowers is a riot of colours and the best time to visit this valley of flowers is by mid-August where you can see a lot of Himalayan flowers like Balsam, Anemones, Blue poppy, Brahma Kamals, Primulas, Asters etc occupying the valley floor. There are certain carnivorous species as well who get their food through preying on insects, but these can only be identified by a keen observer.
